BIRD Incubator has officially kicked off the second round of its pre-incubation program, welcoming 11 teams with innovative ideas across sectors such as technology, sustainability, healthcare, and urban mobility.
We kicked things off with an energizing warm-up session led by Biljana Ljuban, setting the mood for 7 exciting weeks ahead.Over the course of the program, the teams will take part in workshops, receive 1:1 mentoring, and attend networking events. The scheduled workshops include: Ideation (Dora Zane), Problem–Solution Fit (Anja Jagodić), Branding (Ivan Biošić), Pitching (Scott Coleman), Legal (BDV Law Firm), and Lean Canvas (Davor Runje).
In addition to workshops, the teams will participate in Mentor Speed Dating, practice their presentation skills through two pitch rehearsals—where they’ll receive feedback from mentors and experts—and hear firsthand inspirational startup stories from founders Luka Glavaš (Flaster) and Marko Linke (Repsly).

Bereka – A mobile app and AI assistant that centralizes all communication, automates cleaning schedules, and offers a clear task overview for private apartment renters.
GreenSpace – A digital platform for sustainable urban planning that helps cities make smarter decisions using data, simulations, and citizen participation.
Luman – An innovative digital tool that uses the power of AI to streamline hiring for employers and deliver personalized, valuable feedback to candidates.
MediSense – A novel method for classifying anomalies in medicine using thermal cameras and AI models.
Price Hunter – An app that collects and processes product pricing data from retail stores.
Project01 – A platform that supports incubators in onboarding and monitoring the progress of their startups, while also providing startups with a gamified environment to develop their ideas.
ScanCraft – 3D printing from text or 2D images using AI or photogrammetry scanning.
SkyResQ – A system that uses FPV drones to deliver emergency medical supplies like defibrillators and EpiPens within the first three minutes of a 112 emergency call.
nazirAI – A platform that uses AI to predict risks and optimize processes in real time, transforming project development in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry.
Trenner – A platform that connects clients with personal trainers in real time and simplifies the discovery, booking, and management of individual sessions, group workouts, and other fitness services.
Vincentia – Uses AI to connect elderly individuals with high-quality, personalized long-term care services, addressing the challenges of an aging population and caregiver shortages.
The program will culminate in a live Demo Day on June 17, 2025, where all 11 teams will pitch their startups in front of investors, mentors, and key figures from Croatia’s growing startup ecosystem.
